Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the 6hints website and services ("Service") provided by BeepMe Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

6hints provides a software development service that utilizes artificial intelligence and human oversight to audit, refactor, and develop code. We offer tailored codebases ("Tailoring Phase") and ongoing feature development ("Execution Phase").

3. Intellectual Property

You own the code. Any code, documentation, or other deliverables provided to you by BeepMe Inc. ("Deliverables") becomes your exclusive property upon full payment for the Service. BeepMe Inc. retains no ownership rights to the Deliverables.

You grant BeepMe Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access, modify, and create derivative works of your existing codebase solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

4. Confidentiality

We understand that your code is your proprietary asset. We agree to hold your Confidential Information in strict confidence and not to disclose such Confidential Information to any third parties, except as required providing the Service (e.g., trusted subcontractors under NDA).

5. Service Limitations

While we strive for perfection, software development is inherently complex. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We use AI as a tool, but human review is our primary quality assurance mechanism. However, residual bugs may occur. We provide revisions as part of our subscription to address these issues.

6. Payment and Subscription

The Service is billed on a subscription basis or as a one-time fee, depending on the plan selected. You agree to pay all fees in accordance with the pricing terms presented to you at the time of purchase.

• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds: Due to the nature of the labor involved, refunds are typically not provided once work has commenced, but we will make every reasonable effort to ensure your satisfaction through revisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall BeepMe Inc., its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
